SECTION 2 — WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal data in the following ways:

2.1 Information You Provide to Us Voluntarily

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you provide your email address and optionally your name. When you submit our contact form, you provide your name, email address, and the content of your message. If we launch digital products or courses in the future, we may collect billing name, billing address, and payment information — however, we do not directly store card or bank details, as payments are handled by third-party processors.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically When You Visit

When you access our website, we automatically collect your IP address and approximate geographic location at city or country level, your browser type and version, your operating system and device type, the pages you visit and the time you spend on each page, the website that referred you to us, and cookie identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

We receive anonymised and aggregated usage data from Google Analytics, advertising interaction data from Google AdSense, click-tracking data from affiliate networks when you click affiliate links on our website, and search query data from Google Search Console.

2.4 Sensitive Personal Data

Under the SPDI Rules, 2011 and the DPDP Act, 2023, we do NOT intentionally collect any sensitive personal data. This includes passwords, financial or banking information, physical or mental health data, sexual orientation, biometric data, and religious or caste information. If you inadvertently share any sensitive personal data through our contact form, we will delete it immediately and inform you.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 3 — WHY WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION (LEGAL BASIS)

We only process your personal data when we have a lawful basis to do so.

Under India’s DPDP Act, 2023, we process data on the basis of your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent for newsletters and marketing communications; on the basis of legitimate use for operating and improving the website; and on the basis of legal obligation when required by Indian law or court orders.

Under the GDPR (for visitors from the European Union or United Kingdom), we rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) for newsletters and non-essential cookies; legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) for website analytics, security monitoring, and fraud prevention; legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) for compliance with applicable laws; and contract under Article 6(1)(b) for responding to your direct enquiries.

Under the CCPA and CPRA (for California residents), we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You have the right to opt out of any such practice should it ever be adopted in the future.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing legal@aiinformation.in. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 4 — HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

To operate, maintain, and continuously improve this website and its content. To send you our newsletter and content updates, but only if you have explicitly subscribed and given your consent. To respond to your messages, enquiries, comments, and support requests. To show you relevant advertisements through Google AdSense. To understand how visitors use our website through anonymised analytics. To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, spam, abuse, and security threats. To comply with our legal obligations under Indian and international law. To process purchases of digital products or courses, including sending you receipts and order confirmations.

We will never sell your personal data to any third party. We will never share your personal data with advertisers beyond anonymised aggregate information. We will never send you marketing communications without your prior explicit consent.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 5 — WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data only with the following trusted service providers who are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it for the specific purposes we authorise:

Google LLC, based in the United States, for website analytics via Google Analytics, advertising via Google AdSense, and search data via Google Search Console. Brevo, formerly known as Sendinblue, based in the European Union, for sending our email newsletters. Hostinger International Ltd, based in Cyprus and Lithuania, for web hosting and server infrastructure. Cloudflare Inc., based in the United States, for our content delivery network and website security. Payment processors such as Razorpay or Stripe if we launch paid products, for processing transactions securely.

We may also disclose your information to Indian law enforcement agencies, courts, or government authorities when legally required under Sections 69, 69A, or 69B of the Information Technology Act, 2000, pursuant to a valid court order, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of our users. In the event of a business transfer, merger, or acquisition, user data may be transferred to the successor entity, and we will provide notice before that occurs.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 6 — HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Newsletter subscriber data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus 30 days for backup purposes after unsubscription. Contact form submissions are deleted within 90 days of resolving your query. Comment data is retained until you request deletion. Transaction and billing records are retained for seven years as required by Indian tax law and the Goods and Services Tax Act. Server access logs are retained for 90 days for security monitoring purposes. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months, which is the default Google Analytics setting. Backup copies of data are deleted on a rolling 30-day cycle.

After the applicable retention period expires, your data is securely and permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 7 — INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Our website is operated from India. However, some of our service providers, including Google and Cloudflare, process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. When your data is transferred outside India, we take the following steps to ensure it remains protected.

For transfers to European Union recipients, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as required under GDPR Article 46. For transfers to the United States, we use service providers who have signed Data Processing Agreements containing appropriate safeguards. As required under the DPDP Act, 2023, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal data transferred outside India receives equivalent protection.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 8 — YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Depending on where you are located, you have specific legal rights regarding your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, please email hi@aiinformation.in with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request” and describe your request clearly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SECTION 9 — CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

This website is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. For the purposes of the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, processing of personal data of anyone under the age of 18 is considered processing of children’s data and requires verifiable parental consent. We are also prohibited from conducting behavioural monitoring of children. We do not knowingly engage in either activity.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us immediately at legal@aiinformation.in. We will verify the situation and delete the data promptly. We will also review and strengthen our age-verification procedures in response.

Administrative access to our systems is protected by two-factor authentication. We conduct regular security updates and patch management. Access to personal data is restricted to only those personnel who need it to perform their role. We do not store payment card or banking details directly on our systems. We conduct periodic reviews of our third-party service providers and their data protection practices.

Despite these measures, no method of data transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
